Anyone have any ideas on how to build a cheap paint shaker? Full paint cans are hard to stir after sittin around.

I still don't have a shaker, or room for one to be honest, so I welded a piece of flat stock about 5" long to a shaft collar and attached it to the shaft of a gear motor.
Add a few marbles to the can of paint, and attach the can to the bar stock with a couple hose clamps and let it run a while.
Another trick that helps a lot is just turning the can upside down for a day before you even think about mixing.

I don't have any shaker ideas but I use my drill press and one of those big drywall putty stirring tools. Works great on five gallon buckets.
