Ask on the Farmall board, or ask your CIH dealer what the CIH code/name is. Any major paint manufacturer can cross it. I think it is different from the usual IH 2150/PPG 71310/DuPont 96766, not sure.

Yes it is different from the old IH red. The problem is the CaseIH number doesn't cross over to PPG, Dupont, or Valspar. Their are so few guys painting newer tractors now days that when the paint guys get a request they don't keep the number.

Hi Greg,

If you cannot get a listing from either PPG or DuPont for the specific CIH color you want in a urethane, I suggest this: Buy some of the CIH paint that you know is the correct color shade. Do a sample sprayout. Take the sample to your DuPont jobber to see how close you can get with one of DuPont's SpectraMaster generic colors. As far as I know, the SpectraMaster shades are available in all DuPont chemistries. From what I have seen in the AC area, SpectraMaster can match the AC early persian orange very well. Perhaps the same can be done with your color. PPG may have a similar series of generic rainbow colors also - I don't know.
