Could anyone out there help tell me what bolts & nuts are needed to put body parts on a Ford 600 tractor or where I can find any information on what to use. My dad owns a 1957 Ford 600 and he took the body parts off over 5 years ago and we just painted them for his birthday in July because he starts something and has a hard time finishing anything. So now he can't find the bolts and nuts and has no idea what kind and size to hang all the body work back on the tractor. My husband and I would like to help my dad get his tractor back together - any help that we can get will be appreciated - Thanks
Balinda

Balinda, I am sorry that someone has not answered you before this, but your question has so many answers that I for one don't know where to start. I would suggest that you buy a service manual and a parts manual off of this site. It should tell you most of what you want to know. Most of the bolts will be common over-the-counter bolts. If there is a specialty fastener, shoulder bolt or some other configuration that you will need, it should tell you in the service or parts manual. It is not hard, just jump in and get your feet wet. The feeling is great as you see the old tractor come back to life. Dad will probably have an old bolt bin somewhere in the garage that should have enough stuff to get you started. Good luck and send us some pictures when you get it done.
