I am going to use John Deere brand enamel to paint my tractor. About what ratio should I cut it? I will be using a regular suction feed spray gun. Also, about what air pressure should I set the regulator at? Thanks, Jdman

Basic rule -- If the paint does not come with instructions, don't buy it. If it does not say on the can, then ask the supplier for the instruction sheet, or go to the manufacturers web site. Epoxy primer is not usually thinned, and is two part, that is you add hardener according to the instructions. I know nothing about JD paint -- do what it says in the instructions.

The JD Classic Green that I bought but haven't used yet says mix one part thinner to 10 parts paint. I also bougt JD thinner.
