does the older IH ,s have the darker color
like Ive seen a few places, or are the all the regular IH red?
I saw a w-9 in a shed on the IH file all redone,
it looked really sweet, and I was wondering if all the older one.s were that color?I hope so.
It would look nice to have a W-6 in the older red
which is almost a maroon,

There were 4 "Harvester Reds": IH 50/PPG 70019/DuPont 96766, used from 1937? until April 1949; IH 1102b/1102c used until the 460/560 series came out in 1958; IH 201 used until the 404/504 came out in 1961. Thus your W6 should be IH 50, I don't think that color is as dark as the tractors you have seen, that is certainly not what I remember, but I think senilty is setting in. Case-IH sells only 2150, it was not "correct" until 1961. I don't know if 1102 or 201 can be mixed.
