Where do I start losing weight on an Oliver?

Building an Oliver 88 puller and would like to get her down to 4500#. I've Already got pressed steel rims and I only weigh bout 160 lbs. So what else do I need to strip?

Nothing, you should already weight less than 4500 unless you have a wide front and a loader on it. Seriuosly with pressed rims on the front and back along with a narrow front will get you down below 4500. Remove the hydraulic unit, belt pulley and PTO and you will be in the 4000 class.

You aint tellin me nothin, didn't you see my name "ALLIS PULLER" I've already got a "WD" that I pull with and it does real well. Now I'm lookin to go with a bigger tractor. If I wanted to know what is a good tractor for 4500# your post would actually mean something!

Maybe I should have said WD45 Lots of them around here pull 4700 / 5200 and do very well.

Heck, i would imagine likely you could get three or four of them WG tractors for a good oliver WOW that might not be a bad idea.

I would remove the belt pulley assembly and the power take off if your local rules permit. That should allow u to have some moveable wt.,as well. Other things can be done but that is all that would be necessary.
