The pull in Lavonia was GREAT, after having 4-6" of mud/water scraped away and packed. Considering the track conditions and the weather, I believe it was a much lower turn-out than normal, but still a real good turn-out. THE Bulldog is back home and he's very proud of his 1st (5500 antique) and his 3rd (5000 antique) (Red, White & Blue) trophies. He especially enjoyed beatin' the Super M that our friend kept saying "he's always 1st or 2nd".' Our friend didn't pull his Oliver 77 but we did pull against his Uncle's Oliver 88 Standard in both classes. Uncle Billy beat the Bulldog in 5000, but couldn't hold up to The Bulldog in the 5500. We had a fabulous time; a GREAT group of people. Had JD AO, MT, 420's, G's, 720s, 620's, IH M, SM, 400, 460, several Minni Mo's, Fords and Allis, a Massey or two and quite a number of Oliver. Good mix of makes and models. We hope to drive the 200+ miles again to pull with them (next season). P.S. - THE Bulldog is NOT named after Univ of Georgia. Looking forward to next 2 Saturdays at SATPA (Pageland) and then OAKBORO on the 21st.
