Big iron, With a 70, you have several options! This is because the block to main case bolt pattern is the same on a G and a 70. The head bolt pattern is the same on a G and a 70 ALL-FUEL(gas has one more stud)The block cyl dia is identical in a G and 70 ALL-FUEL.Best- Jerry's welding and machine can make a 7.5 inch block and pistons for your 70 that uses the 70 head for about 3,800 to 4,000! I would probably just get one for a G and get an after-market head, carb, and manifold.(A bit pricy) Buy a G power block and a G after-market head. Buy a plain G block and G head, manifold, and carb. Then bore the G block and clean up the head! (Most REALISTIC) The bad thing is, it will be hard to notice just a maximum rebore of the 70 block over a tight stock bore. Stroking is where the MOST noticeable bang for the buck is! Hope this helps, pat
