Anyone running a farmall M with around 440
cubic inches? how much horsepower have you seen
on the dyno? What head, carb, and manifold setup did you use?

The only thing more variable that some of these older dyno's is the guys who read them. So don't get to discouraged if someone else's 'story' is a little bigger than yours. Let them do there talkin' out on the track!
However, you should be able to make between 115-120 hp @ 535 pto rpm.

An M's rearend will fail before it could hold 100 horsepower. The 450's are putting 85 horsepower and the can't hold their driveshafts and torques in my area. Just my 2 cents.

The m's rearend will hold up fine at 200 hp. I know of a lot of 460's running 100 to ? hp, rear end TA are holding up just fine.
