Well it had nothing to do with the fire codes or to much smoke!!!1st the wheels were wrong, even though they were the wheels that came from the factory, in Germany. They were 3/8 to wide, thats becuse they are metric DICK TRACEY!!Then the hitch was 3/16 to close,so I loaded up and came home 4.5 hrs from Columbia! I went to Tunica in Dec,which I received 6th place out of 50+ tractors in the"King of the Hill",went to Cleaveland, MS in Feb, in which I won 1st! So, I get everything to the exact specs of the NAPTA rules, had wheels made, changed hitch, everything!!!!!I called to ask the wheel width on another tractor I am building, before the question was even answered, the statement came back "it doesn't matter anyway, because we're not going to let you pull with us!!!"At 1st I thought it was a joke, then he said no that tractor is to new. I responded, I thought as long as the series began by '57 ,it was ok.There are different series of these tractors, like A-C. He told me nope to new!!!I don't know how they are so knowledgable, they didn't know what it was!!I don't know why they are so down on tractors outside the box. It's ok to have 3 extra inches of stroke in your JD,A-C, or MM, in division 2,(as long as your in the click)but don't bring in that oddball with the hitch off 3/16.It's to new we can't prove it, we just know it is!!I tell you what,I'll pull it exhibition aginst the tech mans JD in Div 4, with non cut tires and we'll just see!!This tractor is bone stock; dyno shows a whopping 70 hp,wow! If I get beat I should've and I'll eat my terd and go home, if I win ??
