Mike -

I wish I knew more about the fate of this tractor also! You are right though, that rig was VERY impressive. The last time I saw it run was down at Louisville (where he got a bite and spun the rims inside the tires!). Earlier that evening, I was watching him "warm" the thing up outside the coliseum. It still makes me shudder when I think about the sound of that MASSIVE V8 diesel. Truly a unique sound and power in this day and age of the dominant 6cyl.

Hey, I'm Dennis's son. He sold it to Jeff Ahrens and Jeff sold it to Richard Jedele who now calls it smokin joe. My dad would get a top 3 finish almost every pull. Jedele has it and Is getting 8th-10th with it. I really miss the tractor.

Hi, I am Dennis's son. My dad sold the tracor about 7 years ago to Jeff Ahrens, who then sold it to Richard Jedele. Jedele now calls it Smokin Joe and pulls in Michigan and Ohio.

Thanks, Nick
