Were in the market for a new truck, and its between Ford and Chevy, and I was wondering which one you guys like better power wise. So far the Chevy rides better but we cant test it for power until we get a gooseneck hitch in it.
Thanks,

If you are talking new, than I would go with a Duramax because the 03 6.0 liter Fords are having drivability problems and Ford has not been able to come up with a program to fix them yet.Ours has been in the shop three times for surging and loss of power and all the dealer can tell me is Ford is licking thier wounds because they pushed this engine out too soon w/o testing enough.Thats nice to hear after spending over 30000 bucks. When that truck had a few hundred miles it was one wicked ride but now a good 6.5 Chevy could probably give ours a run for the money.Good luck with your choice.

IF YOU WANT A TRUCK THAT WILL OUT WORK, OUT LAST AND OUT PULL THE REST GO FORD. IF YOU GO CHEVY THE TRUCK WILL SPEND MORE TIME IN THE SHOP THAN IN YOUR BARN. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO SHOW GO CHEVY, IF YOU REALY WANT TO GO, GO FORD. REAL MEN DRIVE FORDS. KROUT, THAT DODGE STILL HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE MY FORD. ANIMAL
