Not division V legal, does anybody know where
this setup is legal out west? This tractor would be legal with the TriState guys in Penn
and Jersey. Nice looking RD, headers with a cast
intake,strange rules.

Engine must be same length.

RD IH engines are 7 main bearing gas with displacement ranging from 361 to 501 c.i.
A direct replacement for the FBB engine in a
W40. The tractor pictured looks like it has
the four barrel 501 intake flipped over. Silver, green, black and blue are the names
of the 4 main bearing gas and diesel engines used in
trucks,ag and industrial applications with
a c.i. range of 213 to 308.

That doesn't look that special to me it looks kinda sloppy. And I know a couple tractors he still couldn't beat.

it may appear to be sloppy, but probably the only way to route all the header tubes to make a tuned header (meaning all the tubes are the same length). i'd be interested to see what diffence that it would make. i know that it makes a difference on pulling trucks and drag cars.

They are supposed to tuned to 3000 maybe up to 3500 RPM's. I believe they are all 48 inches long with a collector that is 12 or 14 inches long that will go inside of the usual chrome stacks. The purpose is to take advantage of the the F A wave actions. It is just a guess because the designer did not have the cam specs but should fall in an RPM range that is suitable.
