Using threaded rod to hold rear wheel weights on.

I have a Farmall Super M with stock cast wheels.
I would like to know how many cast iron IH rear wheel weights you could put on using threaded rod through the hubs to secure them. I think I've seen as many as 3 weights per wheel, but I'm not sure if you could add more.
Thanks

I know a guy who put 7 150# weights on each side on a 1466. Used 3/4" readi-rod. 4 per side. Snugged them down good. Only had them on long engough to make it down the track.

As long as you use 4 rods to hold the first 2 on, you could use smaller bolts to hold the rest on. I use 3/4" round stock pegs, welded to the rims, it will hold 3 IH 150lbs wheel weights just fine. Have had up to 6 before, had to tie a strap around them for more support, Just don't get carried away. Weight bolts are one of the most important parts to invest in Chads
