carb is to rich, have 806 bottom it was ok intill i put on a LP manifold and drilled out the main metering valve seat with a 1/8 drill bit.running mw 312 cbin set up with lp head.CAN I INSTALL A NEW 806 SEAT .Or is the 1/8 hole I drilled in the seat hole to big to reinstall the 806 seat?

No. What has happened is that the LP manifold flows alot more air. You have taken away too much vaccumm from the engine.. causing an uncontrolable rich condition,, or fuel puddling in the manifold and head.. Ok,, I would assume you are using a 806 venturi,, back up to the SM-450 venturi,, will help the vaccum problems,, Now,, as far as the stem is concerened,, you can just get another stem,, and start over with the drilling of the holes,,, just don't go bigger than the main jet size!! Use a stock needle and seat, will be fine. How much compression does this engine have? ChadS

My compression is 235# THANKS CHAD FOR YOURE INFO I WAS ALSO WONDERING IF I COULD PUT A THINER HEADGASIT ON ?.
