Ok,,I just learned last night,, HA HA. If you have a pic,, either in your picture album of what ever,, it has to end with JPG,of GIF. That is the only way they will allow pic on the internet. Ok,, Go over to the left side of this page ,and click on Tractor photos, then when it comes up,, click on add your picture, it will come up to 'Brose",, it iwll open up your PC to your files and you thn need to select the file with the picture in it, then select the pic, click on upload. if it works, your pic will appear down at the bottom of the page,, with an IP address. then right click, on cut, then go to the message board, and go to optional image url, and right click, and paste. the address will appear in the optional image url, The pic will appear when you submit the message, if not, check your link,, if it had any thing but jpg, or gif, it will not upload.. Hope this helps,, A good man to help,, who helped me is "EarlShieb", he has a program, that will help you,, ChadS

What class do you planning on running, most of the clubs around hear require that the engine, trans, and rear end be from the same tractor?

Chad, why the H front end? Lose some more weight. Go with the 460 front and use a charlynn power steering pump and a hand pump from a 1086 to steer it. Pump won't steal that much hp. Just a thought.

Ok,, Here is a description of this tractor,, It is a 1950 Farmall H,, with a 263ci IH 6cyl. It has 460 sheet metal,, with 18.4X34 deep treads, Looks kinda rough,, but belive me,, Something Wilder looked worse than this when I started,, HA HA,, It has no TA. and uses the stock starter. Don;t know how it will run yet,, I am going to keep you all updated on it's progress. I am going to put on a .020 copper head gasket, one of my carbs, and distributor kits, MSD ignition. The frame, with the tires, no metal, weighs in at 3300lbs,, Still have to put on pressed steel rims and smaller front tires, and aluminum weight bars. Expecting the tractor to weigh about 3300 still with the sheet metal and pressed steel rims,, I am in the process of building weld on rear hubs, I hope this tractor works out the way I planned, I am going to run the engine stock for a while,, to see how the tractor pulls,, and holds together. So far,, everything is solid,, Chads

I would have thought it'd be heavier than that (3750-4000). I've probably said that we're trying to get a "hot farm" class for these started down here but it was only 5500-7500 lb. I would have gone with the H sheetmetal if it would have worked at all. Either way I like to do things like that and make it look from the factory. Makes people wonder.
