I am working on an unstyled A john deere for division III. I think it will have enough horse to run 18.4 x 38, but will they be to heavy and not enough ground pressure for 4500 pound and up class. Would I be better off with 16.9 X 38 or 14.9 X 38 or any other size? It maybe a stupid question and I need to find out for my self. I hate to buy all different tires, because I do not want to spend more money than I have to. Thanks for serious information.

most places will limit you to no bigger than 16.9-38 or 15.5-38 in the 4500 lb. classes running div. 3 style rules. find out first what the rules say for the classes you want to run and go from there.

Can't legally run tires that large in some 4500lb class in some pulling orgaizations.
