Why not step up to the 6 cyl engine? Would your rules let you? At that kind of rpm you might as well run a direct throttle linkage to the carb,, forget the governor,, Just make a deadman throttle like the big boys require. Me personally,, I don't know what you have done to this tractor,, But I would not run a Stock flywheel that fast unless I have had added 2 extra guide pins and bigger bolts in the crank,, Would not scare me to run that fast,, but like some of the others have said,, a steel jock strap,, and a good full faced helmet and a scatter blanket,, maybe 2 of them,, Just don't get stupid with it if you have done nothing to it to reinforce the flywheel,, If it is stockk,, it could be an accident waiting to happen.. Just my 2 cents worth ChadS

Can't run the 6 cyl. No governor and have a deadman. Have a steel flywheel and twin disk clutch, used an automotive balancer on the crank. Made steel main caps and cross bolted to a girdle, alum. roller rockers and crank driven oil pump and an awful mess of header pipeing.

Do you have a steel flywheel ? If not you better get one.... As for more RPM.... That's the most I have ever heard of from anything that even remotely still resembled a WC engine.

You must have an electric tack set on the two cylinder setting to indicate those kind of revs. There won't be any power to speak of at those rpms because volumentric efficiency will have dropped.

Just wondering where you pull unlimited rpm's?
Are the spectators kept a safe distance away?
Sounds like fun, but you better think of your libality if you hert someone. Nowdays you can just look at someone wrong and they are going to sue.

Chicken or not you are talking stupid. When the thing blows up and hirts someone maybe he can use you for a reference that said to run those high rpm's. Keep running high rpm's, talk stupid and loose everything you have or could of had. No who is chicken!

The class this tractor runs in requires safety equipment just like a superstock guys! Steel flywheel, scatter blanket, skid bars, etc, etc, etc. Sounds to me like somebody has rpm envy problems!
