I seen that Cox is selling the 460 he pulls. Any one know anything about it?? Engine,, asking price?? Thanks,, Chad

Tractor belonged to one of the Brooks from Ill. before adrian cox owned it. Somewhere close to 500 cu in. He sure hammers the oliver 88s with it. Got to be the best div 5 tractor in USA. in 3500 and 3750 lb class. You need to run your 460h against him once.

I would run Something Wilder against him is a speed limit class though,, 4-8 mph,, Would be interesting to see it pull 4 mph, and 8 mph with out the rpms.. Heard he has a RD501 in it. I can understand why it runs the way it does then. I just aquired a RD450. Don't know what to do with the engine yet. Chad

Adrians tractor still has the 460 block in it. In 4mph class you could run ok against him. In the eight 8 mph class no way. This tractor pulls in 20 mph gear in div. 5. Sorry didn't want to offend the ollie pullers but he does beat the ollies most of the time. Div. 5 rules are made by the pullers so get in there and vote.

It is a more level playing field though,, aint saying I would win,, Would be fun to try though.. Just for the fun of saying I pulled with him, and felt like I had a chance. LOL, I know of an 88 oliver that can pull road gear at 2500 rpms, and blow the tires off it. Not a Gingrich either. Strong puller,, may not be as fast as the 460 but would be a good contestant.. Oh,, it is a diesil too. Naturally aspirated. Not many like that around. How did Cox do at Hartford?

How about Brooks, Bear and this Cox guy come to Columbus in April and pull in a real Div. 5 not that wussy NATPA class. Lets see them take the goveners off and open them things up. Oh I forgot they would scatter them all over the track. Why does'nt NATPA make an open class so some real tractors can pull.

I saw this tractor pull, he doesn't need RPM's to beat ppl, in fact in murray he susposedly turned them down....what is so impressive about a tractor running sooo many RPM's

He does in fact pull TUFF E NUFF in Div V with the MATPA in the summer and we do not have an RPM limit. This tractor can run high RPM and stay together. I don't know what you pull, it may be awesome, but I know this tractor has sent a lot of people home disappointed.

Like the man said, tell him to load it up and come to columbus pull COATPA div 5 when he or any of those 460's win that class then they can be the best div 5 tractor. But we all know they will not come pull that class because they know what will happen. NATPA div 5 is nothing but a bunch of div. 4 tractors with the gov. turned up a little.

There is no way possible that Adrians 460 could run with bewley.Bewley has one of the greatest pulling tractor tractors i have ever seen.When it comes to these tractors he is smarter then most 98%MM motor builders. Something around his level would beee Iron dragon or Teporary(?) Satisfaction

He wouldn't hammer the ollies so hard if he had to run 2500 rpm's instead of the screwed up NATPA B.S. Oh since when did an RD 501 engine become the same lengh as a 301? The NATPA tech crew needs to learn how to read a tape measure!!!

I thought in div 5, it just had to be of original manufacturer,, (IH to IH) etc.. I know in USAP,, the rules are, must bolt in a stock mannor, and no visable front engine mount, outside the frame. RD can bolt into the 460,, just re drill the back plate. As far as anything else to do to make it work,, I would not know. CHad

Only Bill Bear could pull that off! There are no Bill Bears pulling 77 olivers! If Bill did he would have a 1950 motor in his 77 running about 4 grand!
