I got the oliver 88 home today. Kinda rough but very restorable.. I bought 4 olivers over the weekend,, 2 super 77, and 1 reg 77, and the 88. all less than $500.00 I think that was a good deal,, they are not running,, the 88 will someday, has one badly stuck #3 piston. and head needs to be reworked. Dad spent all afternoon removing the brakes,, Rusty!! That was the worst part on the tractor.. Hmmm 4 olivers, A trend??? Maybe..... ChadS

Ya know. There's a guy down here that has a S77 with a 1600 engine in it. He's never let it lose (afraid it'll rip itself apart). You could start another project like the 460H.

Well congradulations! You could also really mess with people and paint it orange and call it an industrial tractor.Well good luck on your new project.I enjoy reading your post because you try to help anyone.Are you going to Columbus.
