Chad,I just posted a picture of the Hill Brothers 460 IH puller from the 1970's.I think I've lost alot of my old pulling pictures as I didnt find very many old 460-560 pictures from the early years.

I do have a picture of Bud Baird from KY pulling his 460 IH at the 1969 M&W pull.He was running a 4 bbl and headers and sure turned some rpms.He got 3rd there despite breaking his drawbar at 318'9".The winning pull was a Wards at 350'3".

Thanks!! I like that one,, Dad and I have been thinking about making this 460H into a "Mini prostock" I have a smaller turbo of of a ford svo, and was thinking about hooking it up. Might be a tough little tractor. Thanks again!! Chad

Check this site out. >Link
Look>Link for the name Henry Piper. The pictures are probably from sometime in the mid to late 80's. He bought this tractor from dad's cousin, Ronald Shafer, in the late 70's. Hank still pulls it in the ITPA 6000 Super Stock. It has a single turbo, 301 block, with 19 injectors (3 per cylinder plus one direct to the turbo). Makes 1500+ hp. Hank will be either 91 or 92 years old in 2004. He's still sharp as a tack and in good health. He leaves the driving to his son and grandson now. The last time I saw him behind the wheel was at the Mt. Vernon fair about 6 or 7 years ago. He was around 84 or 85 then and not afraid to pull the throttle ALL THE WAY BACK!

P.S. Hank still has his Super Stock M and uses it to bush-hog with. The turbo and 4 barrel carb have been put up on a shelf. But the crack in the block, where the center main flexed, when he boosted it passed 300 hp can still be clearly seen!
