I took your advice you gave me a few weeks ago, I got rid of that little round, and wishboned H front end, and got a square 460 front end. I am going to run a narrow front for now, with smaller front tires, till I get the parts to build a wide front built. It looks a heck of a lot better now. Gonna have a nice low front end on the narrow front, and will see how it reacts to the angle, then see if I need to change it when I put the wide front on. See ya! ChadS

Not gonna be a lot of H left. Have to switch the steering over too, I suppose. It'll probably be lighter that way. Would have been nice to use the H sheetmetal, make it sort of an HX (experimental). But then an H rear in a 460 won't be as noticable to everyone as a 6 cyl. in an H.
Be interest in seeing how it does. With my M and the hot rods, won't have any time or $ to put in a W6-560. We'll see how this new Hot Rod class works out.
Noticed from a few posts, you're thinking of going to a turbo. Can't remember, does it still have a crutch? Should be a fun ride.

I built a steering shaft for it, I had made a frame that bolts on to the tractor, and it is for the sheet metal, I made it all one piece, the whole hood can tilt, or be removed by 6 bolts. Dad is going to put one together too, he is wanting the big engine, and going to use H sheetmetal. Really, the one I built, I made in to the 460, If I ever build a big cube engine, (301 block) I want to run div 4 and 5 and get light. It does look better,, LOL square front, instead of a peak,, I don't think it will be much under 3500, real close,, I still have cast hubs, (ol 77) and a stock H seat. Still could lose another 200-250 lbs pretty easy, but I think I will just run it see how it will balance out. The engine seems to be pretty strong,, after changing fuel, and building a carb, and a few other things, My estimate it would run 3rd gear solidly with 18.4x34. up to 4500, not very fast on ground speed but should be enough to have some fun.
