Where can you find a list of County Fair Tractorpulls for the State of Michigan for 2004?

The EMTPA, you must be joking! If you like hauling a piece of scrap iron down the track and being associated with a club run by a bunch of rookies, this might be the club for you. As an added bonus, the sled operator can activate a hydraulic cylinder to stop your tractor any time they want if they don't want you to win. Seen it happen twice last year. Please save yourself the humiliation, don't waste your time with this club. There are many better ones out there!

If you got a problem why dont you come to the meeting tomorrow and we'll discuss it. And the sled problem we dont have to worry about that because you are not running it any more. I cant blame you for cryin, i would be to if i coudnt compete. You aint got enough. You know if all your going to do is complain all day you should start a new web site we all know you can do that you being the computer genius in all I know a good name for it you could call it CRY BABY PULLERS. COM.

sincerely, REV NUTTS

Why are YOU using a fake name and why are YOU accusing us of using a false name? Whats to be scared of 4320, or was it Rev Nutts? Just because another person on this forum said what they thought about the EMTPA, why are you pointing fingers at us?

Not being able to compete, thats a good one! Every pull we attended we placed fairly well, a couple firsts, a second, etc. Not too shabby for a div. 2 tractor pulling in div. 3. As far as the CRY BABY PULLERS.com, no thanks, not interested in making a website for you! Since you are not posting you're real name, guess you are the one who is really scared! In the future, you might want to think (I know that is a difficult concept for you) before you go accusing others.

Sorry folks, but this is the way the EMTPA is operated. If they don't like something, they'll drag ANYBODY through the mud. Stay away from these people, its not worth it. Its no wonder why this club is losing members, fast!

This all started when I posted some simple information. Yes everybody has the right to voice their opion but when somebody starts draging a person or organization through the mud I think they cross the line.Nobody is asking anybody to join our club just to come & check us out. Maybe pople will find out that we are just a bunch of friendly guys all having a good time, & not what we are made out to be by a few.

Looks to me like your dad went out of his way to stick his nose in. All clubs have their whinners. Good thing the whinners just stay on the web sites, and complain about issues.

No, he stated his opinion in Malice cause he has issues with the club, and sticks his nose cause he feels he was wronged in some way. Dave posted a response about someone asking about a few places to pull in Mi. Your dad chimmed in stating his opinion about the club, not even responding to the original subject matter.

Rev. Nutts, I must be the Mossner that you're referring to by the wording of your post. Here's a little information you may want to consider:

By way of a cell phone conversation, I found out the computer's been down since Thursday, March 4, I didn't get home from Hawesville, KY with the truck until just before 6 AM this morning (March 6), and got the computer running again with a new HD late this afternoon (also March 6).

I DO NOT have computer access in the truck, nor can I even consider it, while running 3000+ miles in 5 days. Now check the date, time and IP of the "been there" post...

Try posting again when, or if, you come up with some ACCURATE information...or intelligence. Or maybe you could call Dr. Laura - that's right up her alley...

By the way, Rev., I checked the IP address you left...

Jerry, just to save you the aggravation of searching and trying to figure out the IP look at mine. But, I wasn't typing. 4320 ought to be enough to tell you who it was. That's an easy one. He needed to borrow a complicator because his was down. He was on it for about 2-3hrs yesterday. I came on here this morning and seen he stirred a pot. I'm not getting in this one. Nuff said, have a nice day.

I have know idea if it happened at an EMTPA pull or not. I do know it definitely happened at another organizations pulls in Michigan. The person operating the sled was thrown out of the group once they had the proof. I know it happened and the perpetraitor busted at another pull not affiliated with either of the first two organizations.

Time to insist that a tattle tail horn and/or light be wired to activate and stay on if the brakes are applied while the sled is in forward motion. There is not a legitimate reason for the brakes to be used except in an emergency. High time we all demanded this on all of the sleds we hook to no matter who is running them or owns them.

As far as the EMTPA goes, each year the sled is better as they find the money, time and materials to make it better. The group is only two years old and working hard to get better. They bring multiple hooks for each tractor to the pulls on the east side of the state, something that cannot be said for the other group covering that area.

Quite frankly I do not care if I am pulling a step-on boat, or a self-propelled sled. I do have a dislike for the drop pan sleds. I do not feel they have a place in real stock farm or antique pulls. It always gives the advantage to the faster tractor.

Our club secretary usually puts together a whole list of pulls from various clubs for the summer. There are several fairs included. Most of the pulls are in the Lansing, Ionia, Grand Rapids area. Clubs include Flat River, Clintonia, County Line, Lakeshore, Lyons River Bend, and some others. Are these close to your neck of the woods? Usually we don't get the list until some time in April. Our Banquet is the March 13th, I'll ask her then.

Also check out www.mfstpa.com for west side of the state.

EMTPA is a good group, but like any group it is usually the bad apples that get all of the press. Yes, we're young, yes we have our problems. We have 2 seasons in the books now and we're improving all the time. You'll get as many hooks as you want and have some fun with us.

On a personal note, I don't know what the falling out with Jerry was, but I like Jerry and have enjoyed talking with him and Andrew and I would like to see you guys back at the track with us.
