I am looking for the best pull with the most competition to go to in a few years. Since I am from MI, I can only afford one vacation. I was planning on Dekalb, but it sounds like it ain't all it's cracked up to be....thanks alot, a puller

Best pull I've been to in Michigan is at the Ionia Fair. There will be two or three pulls on the grounds this year. One at the fair I think. Usually a nice BIG group of Michigan machines. I'd love to see some out-of-staters come in. Another great place is Oakley, MI. Prarieville draws a few too, but I missed it the last couple years. I thenk they even have a NATPA one weekend.

The Tunica Pull is a great time. Probably the best I go too. I think the Boonville Missouri on 9/11/04 will be one of the best pulls of the year. Alot of the big name competition will be there and the Isle of Capri Casino is adding some Money for two 5 mph shootout classes. I think they are going to be #4750 and #7250. The rules are a little more relaxed like at Tunica with the MATPA.... thats MATPA not NATPA.... Also, 2 sleds.

Last year Dekalb was poorly organized but still good compition. This year VERY WELL orginized but not real good turnout. I believe it was because of Easter weekend. I will go back. But the very best pull is Tunica.
