Supposed to be tomorrow @ 3:00. Nobody really seems to know for sure. Maybe someone in the know will post here. Have called Chip, but keep getting his voice mail.

I'm pretty sure they're any gear, any rpm, no mph. They normally run farm stock, 1st. gear modified, 6mph open and outlaw. Will try to find one of last years flyers and check for you. Outlaw is pretty much anything goes if it's safe.

They don't want anyone to come, as long as Chip doen't have any competition in HIS outlaw class, everything is fine. They don't bother to tell anyone anything alike alot of other clubs around. They are a family type pulling assn. Not in their family, don't bother comming!

If you didn't see my name beside it, I didn't post it! I have enough balls to claim my posts unlike you. I have no reason to come to Spingfield, I'll just wait for you to come to me.

As I understand any outlaw puller requires scatter blanket or steel around bell housing. Not sure about the thickness of steel. 1/4 or 3.8ths.

Be careful what you say about "they". Don't seem to remember running anybody off either. I Helped form the club back in 1995, and served on the board for four years. Didn't see any members name on my family tree, we always welcomed everyone as far I can remember, besides, all these Tennessee clubs are on the cliquish side, from Dickson to McMinville. The Shelbyville bunch are the friendliest and travel more. Sounds like "rattle & snap" might have thumped you. If you didn't like it go somewhere else. You'll find it's not perfect either.

Sorry, I replied on wrong post.

Outlaw pullers require a blanket or steel cover around bellhousing. Not sure of thickness.

JG--- I thought it was you. First time I've seen anyone use that handle besides you. Springfield usually has a good pull, believe someone is trying to stir something up.
