Andy Teasley has a STRONG 88 that makes 3750 lbs and with smaller tires would make 3500 lbs. It has aluminum wheels though, too! There is 1 or 2 in Missouri I think that make 3500 lbs also on 15.5x38 rear rubber!! WOW!!!

I removed the belt pulley drive assembley and the pto from my 88. I replaced the factory hitch with an abbreviated Oliver 70 hitch. I replaced the heavey cast front wheels with new steel wheels and light weight tires. The rears are still on cast centers with 14.9 tires. I replaced the seat with an adjustable seat from TSC.

I weigh 240 lbs and on the scales "we" weighed 4540 lbs.

Pressed steel wheels on the front and rear. No hydraulics and no PTO ( 88's were available from the factory without them ) and you will have no trouble. Ours weighs 4100 minus the driver with 18.4 X 38's, wheelie bars and weight brackets. aRt
