I pull a 560 gas in a farm stock type pull. With no weight on the nose, all behind the rear wheels, pulling at factory HITCH length, no draw bar. This tractor will spin out all the time, some I win, some I loose. What do I do to get more traction? Lengthen the hitch, shorten the hitch?
20" max heigth
18"min length
14.9 Firestone F151 tires on 15"wheels
300lb on rear to make 6000, andI pull it to 8000
I only pull for fun at local fairs, this info will get no further than my county. Thank you, Frank

a good tire is 15.5 firestone road and field. That is what were pulling around here and helps on spinning but it will still spin out. We have moved the hitch to 18 from center of rear end. I am still at 18 high. Are you running steel pressed wheels

Darn near, I am using Cockshutt wheels as of now, they are 38"x15" and weigh the same as a pressed steel wheel. At 18" of hitch this thing wouldnt wipe its own nose! We lengthened it out to 6" behind the hitch and still at 20" high and it is starting to pull better, I may try another 2" at a time untill it pulls the front tires, and then back it up some? We farm with 18.4's, but cannot pull with that tire! Frank
