FYI;

I have been on the phone with one of the fair members. This is what he told me It is not raining now and it looks like it is going to clear off. The have a county road grader and can get the "MUD" off the track so we can pul (as long as it does not rain any more. Grady and I are leaving in about 15 min. See ya at the track. If it is to wet for a pull we just have a "mud bog".

That sure was an intersting nite tonite at the pull in South Bend!!! LOL!! LOL!!! Hey, AC!! Good running little H ya got there, First time out, second place for AC on his 39 Farmall H, He had a rough moment, but I think he got it worked out. Kinda the typical South Bend track,, pretty good condition, but severly slanted to the east, Seen some good sportsmanship outhere in the pits, some seem to have the same goal in mind, a mission to say it,, hope there was a good trend started again in the NEAR future. Tom you did pretty good again!! You all,, when DCTOM says something about case tractors,, ya all better listen, I have only seen one other tractor like that do so well in this club,, Congrats! Yep, did not think the weather was gonna hold up, but after the classes started,, sun was a shining!! There was a good crowd, I think even the news media was there,, Had a good pull off tonite,, Oliver 88 VS Farmall M in the 5500 mods, Redder was better this time round, dont worry, that ollie 88 did not give up yet,, next class 6000 mods, 88 VS UB Moline, well the ollie got the green lite, and it was on from there, ollie 88 wins the green. Farm Stockers,, I did not forget ya all, Local class brought out the big guns tonite, 0-10000 lbs farm stock, Had a good pull off, Ollie 99, VS Case 500 diesil, big ol case now, those 6 cyls sounded good. Ollie 99 wins the local, the 500 case,, too fast, speedin,, Sled seemed to be stopping the tractors a bit premature in my opinion, I understand the track was a shorter track, (225 ft??) But only using aprox, 170 ft, made for a rough nite in track conditions as the sled was bearing down. My class, 4000 mods, Ollie 77 takes the honors, Massey 101 in second, Farmall H in 3rd. Budd, will email ya later this week, If I missed out anything NIATPA pullers, jump rite in and tel us a story! See ya at Westville, Aug 14, ChadS

This is a great club, and I couln't believe all the help I recieved in between pulls. I had 3 different guys offering me to use their weights or anything else I didn't bring. I have some seriouis work to do to the little H, but I think I'll have her done by Westville....later AC

Yeah, I HAD FUN! I felt stupid over that mishap on the track, but the only thing I could do was just laugh it off and hook again. I know darn well that I am not the only person to do that! Learned alot about letting the clutch out with a big load on it, so I guess it was eventually going to happen...Andy...
