You can have a pretty stout H for 2000 dollars. A lot less $$ actually. You just need to know what parts to use to accomplish your goal. There is 3 different combinations for a stock stroke engine to make more HP and torque, it is all done with the pistons and rods, and the cyl head and carb. With just the 350 kit, you are looking at 43-45 hp with the H head, and H carb and intake, and H cam. Now, put on a late model cyl head, cam, and carb and intake, 45-50 hp easy. and that is all bolt on parts, no wild machine work there at all. You can stroke the engine, and still be with in your budget, you dont need the 350 kit to do this, I have pistons that work for 3-9/16 bore, and up to 5 inch stroke. Usually the crank is around 1000 dollars to have one made, sure, there is others that do good work for a lower price, just have to shop around. this route, you may be with in $2500 tops, just depends on how much you do. Send me an email, will give you some budget ideas on parts, and what you can do. ChadS
