I have an 88 that I have pulled for the past year. I need more cubic inches I am running 3 7/8 bore and 4 7/8 stroke now. I have heard of guys running 4020 sleeves bored out and am wondering how far you can go with them. This is a gas tractor and our rules say you can do anything internal as long as it appears stock on the outside. Any info would be great help.

we have been to 6" stroke. 4 5/16" bore any larger on bore and there isn"t much room for coolant. heard claims ginrich had some bigger ones.

Ever have that set up on a dyno? I was curious as to how much your set up makes.

I have not had it on a dyno myself. The guy I bought the tractor from did and he said it had 85-90 hp. Thats what he said I don't know for sure.

That's about 345 cubes so that's probably pretty close on the horsepower. You can bore it out to around 4.5" I think, that's with custom sleeves.
