They'll lose lots of pullers if they make the "no speed", a 12 mph class. Just because they can't enforce the rpms with Mo Money, etc, the 12 mph speed won't help. If your rules says 30%, be men and tell the highwinders this is no pull for them. A lot of people were hoping you wouldn't screw this pull up, well you're on your way!

We traveled to Tunica to find that there program is pretty much "run what you brung" and take care of the good ole local boys. If USAP wants to be associated with this group Mean Green should look at there program and follow suit or USAP should break ties as there two programs are much different. I am not sure who is greasing who? Just gives USAP a bad rap. We expected it to be a similar program. I guess if the Tunica folks are happy with there program it just as well stay the bush pull it is and see how it fairs in years to come. Good facility and good folks, they just need to stiffen there backbone and run it fair for everyone. Nothing kills a program faster than the lack of rule enforcement!!

Hey Ray Charles, I have been to the Tunica Pull for the past 4 years and I would have to say that they run the fairest and by far the best pull in the Midsouth. Evidently it didnt go your way. But by the number of hooks they had last year someone liked it. I havent noticed any numbers like that at any NATPA pulls. I know they dont play any favorites for the local boys as most of them dont get the chance to really concentrate on there pulling cause they are working there butt of so the rest of us can enjoy the pull! So quit whining and degrading there pull. Its your choice if you come or not. H.H.

Puller,
Mean Green is not associated with USAP. We have tried to simplify rules to make it an enjoyable outing for everyone rather than it being a game of "catch me if you can" regarding the rules.

The good ole local boys have hardly been taken care of. We have had our rear ends kicked royally since the inception of the Tunica pull. The number of times any of our people have even placed in the money could probably be counted on one hand.

Our bush pull counted over 700 hooks last year so we'll probably keep things as they are for the time being. I would point out that, to my knowledge, we have had no major protest due to rule infractions.

I just learned that the no speed limit classes will, in fact, be 12 MPH this year. Just thought I'd pass that along since I wasn't sure about it being finalized until today.

Hope you can make it again this year....Spotter

I agree with you, what ever your rules are inforce them!!! People may not like all of your rules but they will respect you knowing that everyone will be treated the same. This is very important through all aspects of life.

Notsip, You have such a way with words. Oh, I've been meaning to warn you. If they ever give you a speaking part in the movies, be sure not to accept any where the script calls for you to "squeal like a pig". Your fellow actor, Ned Beaty, made that mistake and lives to regret it to this day...Spotter
