I'm looking around for used 18.4X 38s to use on a puller; these will be UNcut tires. I see pullers usning traction field and road 151's and super all traction both bias. Has anyone used both to compare or have any thoughts? thanks ,Andy

I personally run the traction field & road variety, but my experience has been that the all traction tire will perform better on harder tracks and the field & road better on a loose track.

It may depend on the track conditions. I have been pulling a set of Super All Traction for one year and on a hard clay track, I have in every case taken first or second place in the 5500# and 6500# class. There have been quite a number of other pullers with the same make and model tractor as mine, with more H.P. than mine, using the Traction Field and Road tire, that simply spin out approximately, 10 to 20 ft. before mine. Hope this is some help to you.

well what to tell ya? i have found that deep treads are the best for farm put the 18.4 on a 20 in. or bigger rim and pull your heart out. the t.f.&r. has less bars than the super all. so what i am getting at is the super all dig more. but i have seen both work well the biggest thing is where you put your weight at. on the other hand pullers up here have gone to radial 23's the old style and they seam to work real good. hope i was some help
