Hey Spotter,

How well did the Fat Lady dance at Bradford? She sure pulled good at the SugarFarms pull. I always like to watch her pull, it seems I'm never disappointed.

Later,
1951G

Bradford is not until this week-end. We'll be loading up a bunch more weights there as they have a 10,000# plus. Just throw as much on her as we can get. Sugar Farm was fun though. Had a hard time getting Mr. Medley's head in the cab of the truck, however. The Lady is looking forward to dancing with them Hillbillies....Spotter

Yeah, I can't say as I blame him for being excited. I just wish my G would pull as good in its weight class as your 820 does in the others.

The fat lady is the John Deere 820 that pulled the sled all the way to the edge of woods.

I seen the tractor but didn't get to stay and watch it pull.It sounded good when they unloaded it.I had a two and a half hour drive back home.Dern I wished I would have seen it.Were you the one I helped weigh in and your wife also?I helped someone with a G there that was in the farm stock class. What did you think of the scales?

Yes, that was me. My wife really enjoyed pulling since it was her first time. She actually approached me earlier and asked if she could pull. Wow, I was surprised and glad she did. Congrats on your trophies. We didn't do that well, but it was fun anyway. I heard different people complaining about the scales during the day, but never heard exactly what the root cause was.

Well it was nice meeting you and glad to hear your wife liked it.Does your G have aluminum pistons it it?Al said he had his scales in MO the week before getting worked on but he didn't get something right.I needed 150 lbs the first time across and put it on.Went back across and it was about 100lbs too heavy.Every time I went across it would be different.Pull way up and you were light stop right on the beginning and you were too heavy.Oh well I had a good time too.I like his sled cause it starts easy and is smooth all the way down. For a little sled I seen it stop a nice running 1066 IH.Good day,Jack(TN).

Hi Jack,

It was nice meeting you as well. Yes, the G has .045 aluminum stock pistons. I probably should have gone with the high compression .125 but didn't. It was my 1st tractor to restore so at the time I didn't know much about the different type of pistons. I believe I borrowed the pen from you earlier in the day with the lineup pad. Yeah, we had a good time and it was a good sled. I believe the G weighed in around 6100lbs, so I was a little light for the 6500 class. Hopefully, I'll see you at the next pull. Which pull are you heading to next? Also, what did you say you pulled? Good day, 1951G.
