Any ideas on how many "REALISTIC" HP can be attained from a stroked 88 diesel motor. No 7 main blocks, no turbo, no incredible block work. Guidelines: A maximum overbore in the block, big stroke, head work, pump and line work. Does anyone have any bore and stroke numbers?...just curious...AC

I have one that is 4-1/4 x4-1/2 stroke, 2-5/8 rod journal, generates 600 ft. of torque on new dyno. It has a roosa master pump with 5020 JD head in the pump. It is very fun and different.

Drill the power cells out two more drill bit sizes bigger to match the cu. in. that the engine has increased. It lets more fuel into the back of the chambers so that it will burn. Before I did this it smoked coal black, now it is just right.
