Chads is that a lightweight frontend you made for the 460? What does the tractor weigh with driver? I pull 2 560 gas with trike fronts and my 460 diesel turbo at 5000 lbs w/driver, but would like the stability of a wide front when that thing starts to get squirely at full steam? Our club wants us to put wheelie bars on for next season plus some lightweight fenders so I'm gonna have to lose some weight somwhere. Migraine

With me on it, 3680 bare, 190 lb driver. The front end is from a gravity wagon running gear, the steer axle. I narrowed it up by cutting off one side, and rewelding it back on. The front axle weighs bout 160, but thats the enitre front end,, frame mounts and all. The frame mount for the front end, has 1/4 thick tubing, and where it mounts to the frame, it has 1/2 in plate on both sides, and has 8 bolts to hold it in place on to the frame rails. It is welded solid to the frame, but the bolts will hold it better to the rails. I was thinking about how much weight the axle could hold, once fully secured on the frame rails,, well, how much does a smaller parker gravity wagon full of grain weigh? divide that by 2. On the scale the front axle weighs 1120 if that means anything to you,,, ChadS
