1066, I think thats more trouble than it is worth to me, I'm pretty sure it won't fit and i'm sure it won't bolt up, but you might know something I don't, if you do please share. Thanks for the reply! CH

CH,, the 656 has a smaller bellhousing than a 806, These are the smaller rear ends in the 656, kinda a tractor of their own if ya get my drift,, even though they bolted the 6 cyl in the 656, using a different engine plate. Look around for a HYDRO tractor, these tractors,,, had the same, small rear end as the 656, (well some did the smaller Hydro tractors) But, had an adapter plate, to use the 414,436, and the 466 in the small bellhousing. it bolts onthe back of the engine. Far as I can tell, use the clutch flywheel from the hydro tractor in the 656 to make the starter and clutch to work. I would say you would either have to change the starter ring gear to the 656, or they may be the same,,, I know, using the adapter plate, you can slide a 400 series engine in an 806,,,,, ,,,,, ,,,,, Hope some of this info helps,,, ChadS
