I need info on building a continental 162 motor. How big can it be bored? can it be stroked? If so how much cubes can be made & how much hp will it make. thanks for any info.

The other problem you will have is the head dosn't breath well. I can build you a motor, have an engine here. I will have to get the block sona-check to see how much the bore can be. Just measure inside of block will tell me how much I can stroke the crank.Call or email 585-335-9274

Unless tightly webbed in the bottom,or extremely "short", almost all engines can be stroked a little. As far as bore, to play it safe, have a machinist check the walls of the block.....It being a dry sleeved engine, all blocks will vary slightly. I know a guy who pulls a hot Oliver, I'll ask him more as he is awsome with pulling engines....
