I am in the process of finishing up my FARMALL 450, and am planning on pulling this summer. The tractor came with 15.5-38, I talked to alot of people, and they said to try them, but some people said that they won't do well. What is your input coming from people that have experienced these tires? (I hope they do well, I just bought new rims,B/C the originals were shot) Thanks

I Pull a 1956 Farmall 400 Diesel. The first season I pulled I had 14.9 Goodyears and always would spin out before I would power. I switched to 16 inch rims and 18.4 Firestone 23 degree radials. I do a lot better now and can get almost all the HP to the ground. Now I generally power out at about the same time I start to spin out.

Some do ok with the 15.5s but most will tell you that 14.9x38 are better. You can use the same rims.15.5s are supposed to be mounted on 14 inch rim width and the 14.9 on 13 inch rims,14 inch just stands the shoulder out a little and squares the tread. Go for Firestone 23 degree or with Titans,I think the Titans are just a little better on a wet track but the Firestones are better everywhere else.I have 14.9 Titans on 14 inch rims on my SuperM and did well when conditions were right[damp].
