Thinking about building a 531 cube M. Anyone out there have any experience with one of these motors? Can they be built reliable? I am currently smaller, but would like to go bigger to run with the olivers, but hate to loose the reliability. Can I get two or three seasons on one of these motors?

if you wanna stay with international go to a 560 or 460. They have lots of potential and are really startin to whip the olivers

So what you are saying is that 531 isnt big enough to run in div 4, but is this motor too big to run in div 3? So I am wasting my time and money in building it. Man what a bummer. Guess I better find an Oli then, or else a 705 minnie.

531 cid isnt enough? how many cubes is enough then? Are you guys talking about farm stock, or hobby stock? How many cubes do you need to run with the 88's?
