DOES ANYONE KNOW THE WEIGHT OF AN (M) ROD COMPARED TO A 450 ROD. I'M LOOKING FOR THE WEIGHT DIFFERENCE

I just weighed a 450 rod 2240 grams verses an
'M' rod with 1.000" bushing weighed 2680 grams.

Geez, maybe I left the pin in it...It was a while ago, so I don't remember, but 400 grams...that's a darn good difference....Bud, sorry for the bad info.....Now I wonder if there is a difference in H -350 rods.....AC

Bud,

I weighed a set of 450 rods last fall, and I thought they wer 3563 grams each _about 5 lbs), and they were ALL within +/- .2 grams...personally, if there is a difference, I don"t think it is worth going through great lengths to save/add weight for a few grams....
but, whatcha have in mind?....gonna be pulling this year? AC

i was interested in the weight difference of an (m) rod compared to a newer generaton 450 rod.

moving forward on the (m), shouldn't have any problem's making play day !
