Muffler Bearings...!!

Believe it or not, I installed a set in a 2-Cycle engine a few years ago....!!!

Were recommended by the Manufacturer of the tuned pipe being used..!!! Was a 1st for me...!! NOW--where can I find a set of wooden Pop-Up Pistons....maybe a Cast Aluminum Cam..???

I'll let ya'll in on a secret. Now everyone know that installing muffler bearings lets the exhaust run flow better and almost as good as a straight pipe. I have found though that if you will pop the seals out and clean the grease out of the bearings and use graphite instead you can gain 3-5 HP over the grease. I little more maintenance to it though as the graphite will not last as long as the grease but the trade off..... LOL!!!!

Papa, I put a set of muffler bearings on my H pulling tractor...ran sooo much better. Only problem was the stuff it was made of...some really expensive material called "unobtanium"..Don't think could afford another set anytime soon....AC
