How much can you bore a 6-2 powerblock without having to hardblock or anything like that.

we have one with a 6.125" bore + .045 because they are .045 over aluminum John Deere G pistons turned down. the sleeves get real thin if you go much over that. I would think you could put a .090 G piston in one, but if you want any kind of compression, i would resleeve it if you want to go bigger. I have heard of an A with a 6.75" bores....I don't believe they can run water, but a huge bore like that is possible. If i had to do it over again, i would spend my money on a used set of 5.75" cat pistons because the $450 for new G pistons and $500 or more for a powerblock...and then the cost to bore it..., its cheaper to buy a set of used or new 5.75" bore cat pistons and bore the stock block... just my 2 cents..... .

I bored mine .125 over without any problems with leakage. I've heard of people rolling the dice and going for more than that.

The common overbore is .125". 3/16 overbore is probably getting kinda iffy. My $.02. Mike
