Anyone using the new Variable Aspect Turbos yet..??

They claim a 40% increase in power on a Cummins, with NO increase in internal temteratures...that IS with a new Inter-cooler, and a larger exhaust than stock... I saw them install a kit on a Cummins powered stock Dodge Pick-up...they dynoed 500 HP and 1,000 lbs of torque with NO increase in temps in the combustion chambers or exhaust, and the off-idle throttle response was imediate..like a Gas engine...!! Kits are being made for the 3 Largest Brands, now...all with similar results... These should be real good for pulling..!!

Just about all of the new emissions-compliant diesels are coming out with variable-geometry turbochargers. The ever-stricter regulations are really forcing manufacturers to come up with some pretty innovative ideas in order to produce good power AND meet the regs.

Are you talking about a VGT holset turbo? They are computer controlled variable geometry turbo's
They won't be allowed in tractor pulling because most sanctioning bodies will not allow computers to actively control the engine. They do allow computers to passively monitor engines though, such as exhaust temp, boost ect.
