My 77 weighs 5440 with me on it. All four wheels have cast centers. The rear tires (13.6x38) are about half full of water. How much can I loose if I just drain the water? I want to get into the 4500 class. Will I need to get new rear rims also to loose that much? How much does the belt pully weigh?

I have a 77 gas that weighed 4480 with me on it. It had hydralics and pto still in it. I would drain all the water out and take the cast centers out of the fronts, or if you put pressed steel on the rear you should have no problem.

My 88 Widefront was done to just under 5000 after taking PTO out but with Hydraulic on. Pressed steel rims with 16.9 X 38 tires and 140# weights on each side. I may have put a little weight on over the winter - will have to weigh soon.
