what is the cheapest and easiest way to get extra horse power from a jd model 50? will parts off other jd's work for power gains? i am running a set of firestone 151 15.5-38's. also looking for a set of pressed wheels (14x38) located close to s.c., i am in norway s.c. any help will be appreciated. thanks, brad

The 50 has enough power to spin any tire in the 5500lb class on any track. Get yourself all th traction possible then adjust tire pressure, and weight balance.

i have a 1952 50 i run the stock class (5000 5500) the tractor has enough power to spin in the 5000 but not in the 5500 and will rearup my main pulling tractor is a 48 G but my favorite is the 50
