I would leave it on LP. LP is decieving becuase the midrange tourque and lugging power is huge. Putting them on a dyno tells a lot. Filling it is no problem. You can have it filled at most truck stops, get your own LP tank with a liquid line or have the LP truck stop out at their convenience,(around here they don't charge extra for filling tractors). I have the origanal fittings on my MM's and they are the same as RV's and LP vehicals. If you want diesel, sell it and find a diesel.

i would change it over to gas you would need a tank hood and carb and with the compression a lp has you would have a pretty stout stock puller

Thanks Jeff ,I will investagate my gas option sounds like diesil is out.I'm a little scared of the lp don't have a very good way of filling the tank.I don't think the local propane co. is going to fill the tank without a upto date hydro test on the tank. who would do that.Any tips
Thanks Dave

Check with your local LP companies. It will differ some from state to state on the allowable max tank pressure ratings. They should know where to get tank tested also and what is allowable and what needs to be changed. Same diesel engine in 500 and it was only rated at 63HP while the 900 LP was rated at 71 HP. Don't have any books showing a Nebraska test for the 900 with diesel but probably about the same I would think. Only show the 900 with LP and diesel original.

you have to have the valve changed to new style on the tank other than that you shouldnt have any problem getting it filled
