Awhile back i talked to you about the ratio for running e-85 in my tractor. And you told me to do a compression check. Well i did it and it was 130 psi across the board.

It wont take much. Start out 1/2 gallon of Ethanol to 1 gallon of gas. it will lean the entire fuel system out so you may need to rejet the carb. This stuff mixes so well with air, you can run so much more through the carb VS pump gas. In your case, you are not going to stop any kind of detonation, or preigntion problems,, the mixture will give you a few HP, and widen your torque curve throughout your rpm ranges. Just dont use too much ethanol, if it runs erratic from that mix, add more gas. a quart more. What happens when you get too much ethanol is,, that the engine will develop a miss under a load, that means you have the fuel too hot, and it wont ignite, like having too much octane. Hope this helps a bit,,, Chad
