Yes, it can do it. First, mix it with 90-93 octane to dillute the mixture. You can pick up 5 hp pretty easy, and maybe 7-10 on the lug power below 540. You will have to rejet the carb bowl,, I dont know what fuel you run now,,, but if you can back outthe main load adjustment screw,,, and make it smoke,,, lets say, your running racing gas,,, its a good starting point for the jetting. I recommend a #35 venturi to get the best HP output, a 33 to get peak torque, You wont burn a piston using ethanol,,, its a very cold burning fuel, it acts as octane booster, and gives some power too. You will notice your plugs will be cleaner, and you will see smoke out the exhaust,, but the plugs can indicate a lean condition. But, it burns so much cleaner than racing gas, and pump gas, you will be listening for a blubber in the engine with no load,, like its too rich,, that means you can lean it out just a tad to make it run smooth. You should be able to get a brown colored plug, but it will be a lighter brown than what racing gas, or pump gas will create. Its too much at 50% mix,,, 50/50 is a pretty potent mix, and can fire a 300 psi engine and stop preignition, and detonation. It is about the same octane equivilent to a 120 race gas, but only at 105 actual octane. At 200, it will take at least a 93 octane to run,,, anything less will preignite and ping. at 30%, I would estimate a good 5 hp difference, and rejet maybe 6 sizes larger on the jets, of course, depends on which carb bowl you have too,,, if you have the 450 bowl,, and it doesnt run rich,, go 5 sizes on the main jet, for a starting point, and 3 sizes smaller than the main jet,, for the bottom 2 holes of the metering stem. that should start to see a plug color, and a hp increase,,, keep an eye on the engine temp,, it should run cooler. keep an eye on the plug color,, brown to lite brown is good, as long as the temp stays down. What kind of engine are you working with to get 75? Chad
