I have a set of 80% firestone super all traction 18.4X38 tires that are mounted on 16" rims. I pull 9000-10500lb stock classes. I'm having a hard time getting them to bite. I started at 10 lbs and am now up to 14 It seems better. Wondering what others have luck with. Thanks

The more tread left, the more air pressure you need to use to make them stand up and grip, unless the tires have been baked good.

Try 16 to as much as 25, and of course watch the track conditions as well.
