Here is a link to my photo album from the Portersville King of the Mountain Pull Saturday night. No action shots unfortunately. They seemed to either pull it or not with little to no front end lifting. I put down the camera in order to shoot video of the pulls. Hopefully in the next week or so I will have more to add.

I was looking at your pictures, what kind of pull is that? How many weights is on that 720?

Mike,

We need a class like this at Muddy Run! I have access to a sled that I think would work. We wouldn't need near as much weight as these guys use on the sled as this one weighs at least 10,000 lbs to start with.

Nobody around here does deadweight pulling and it's a shame. Speed and HP (the result of cubic dollars spent) don't do you any good on the deadweight pull. It doesn't need to be this extreme, but it would be fun to try maybe a 10,000 lb class. I intend to do some experimenting with this big sled and I'll let you know what the 720 thinks of it.

I would be interested in running a class like that. Let me know how the sled works.

I don't know for sure yet. Dad will be taking his 720, but I don't feel like draining water for just that pull and then adding it back for the next week. My brother is in the same boat with his 80. I weigh 9500 and could only pull 10000 as it is. It's a long trip for one pull!

Besides, if that Moline is going to be there, I would be wasting my time! LOL Lil' Hatton and Jeremiah need some competition so you never know. If I don't find anything better to get into, I might be there. I hope to meet up with you if we all make it.
